Skáld Akureyri, Curio Collection by Hilton, began welcoming guests on June 26, 2026. Located at Hafnarstræti 80–82 in central Akureyri, the hotel features 71 guest rooms and 15 serviced apartments, each designed with references to Icelandic storytelling and Nordic design. The serviced apartments include fully equipped kitchens, living areas, and private balconies.

The property’s restaurant, Abba-labba-lá, serves contemporary Nordic cuisine with locally sourced Icelandic ingredients.
