Splitsville Bowl to take over former Nordstrom space inside an iconic Toronto-area mall

17 July 20263 Mins Read

Splitsville Bowl has announced that it’s taking over the former Nordstrom space inside an iconic Toronto-area mall next year.

The Canadian premier bowling and entertainment spot plans to open a flagship location at CF Sherway Gardens in Fall 2027. Once anchored by the now shuttered Nordstrom, Splitsville will transform the space into a 34,000-square-foot entertainment destination.

“Opening at CF Sherway Gardens is a defining moment for Splitsville Bowl,” said Laurence Keen, chief executive officer of Splitsville Bowl.

“Sherway Gardens is one of Canada’s premier retail and lifestyle destinations, and becoming part of its future is a tremendous opportunity for our brand. This isn’t simply another location – it’s a flagship destination that reflects our ambition and the growing demand for premium, experience-led entertainment.”

Keen shared that the brand plans to continue expanding across Canada and investing in “exceptional locations.”

What to expect at the new Splitsville Bowl location

Now, as for this upcoming location, it will feature 22 lanes of 10-pin bowling, an interactive arcade, elevated food and beverage offerings, and dynamic spaces designed for families, friends, corporate events, and celebrations.

The Sherway Gardens location is the company’s second announced GTA venue.

“We are thrilled to welcome Splitsville Bowl to CF Sherway Gardens,” said Sheila Jennings, general manager of CF Sherway Gardens.

“As one of the top shopping destinations in Canada, we are committed to curating a world-class mix of retail, dining, and lifestyle experiences. The addition of Splitsville Bowl further strengthens this commitment, offering our guests another compelling reason to visit and spend more time with us.”

Though Sherway is one of its highest-profile locations to date, the company has plans for more. Over the next 18 months, Splitsville will open eight additional locations across the country.

But as for where exactly, that has yet to be announced. As always, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
