Steam loses 14 Disney PC games with no explanation

16 January 20262 Mins Read

Disney unceremoniously delisted several games from Steam this week, as spotted by a Steamgifts user and on X by Wario64. All told, 14 Windows PC games from Disney are no longer available to purchase from Valve’s digital gaming storefront.

The games in question span decades, from 1992’s Stunt Island to Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell’s Adventure from 2014. Many of them are based on Disney films and TV series, like Disney’s Hercules and Disney’s Chicken Little: Ace in Action, while others are LucasArts games, like Lucidity from the team that remade The Secret of Monkey Island in 2009.

Disney did not announce the games’ delisting from Steam. Polygon has contacted Disney for comment on the titles’ removal, and will update when the company responds.

Here are all the titles that have been delisted:

  • Afterlife
  • Armed and Dangerous
  • Disney’s Chicken Little: Ace in Action
  • Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell’s Adventure
  • Disney’s Hercules
  • Disney Planes
  • Disney The Princess and the Frog
  • Disney Winnie the Pooh
  • Disney•Pixar Cars: Radiator Springs Adventures
  • Disney•Pixar Finding Nemo
  • Disney•Pixar Toy Story Mania!
  • Lucidity
  • Phineas and Ferb: New Inventions
  • Stunt Island

While games getting delisted from storefronts (often because of licensing agreements expiring) isn’t uncommon, a company delisting its games with no prior warning lands as peculiar, especially as a subset of consumers would have bought the games before they lost the chance. “Why would they delist without ever giving us a warning first? They hate money?” wrote one user on the Steamgifts post.

“I can live without those games but not telling us that Disney’s Hercules and Disney Winnie the Pooh are being pulled out is a nasty move. Will be harder to replay my childhood games in the future…” wrote another.

Some delisted games can return to storefronts at a later date, but it isn’t always a guarantee, and they may not stick around for long. An infamous example of this is Activision’s 2013 Deadpool game, which was pulled from storefronts, later re-added, and delisted a final time.

For now, the above 14 delisted Disney titles are gone, but not forgotten.
