Drink The Sea is marking a significant milestone in its career as the supergroup continues its world tour.

Formed in 2022 by the talented musicians behind R.E.M., Queens of the Stone Age and Screaming Trees, the star-studded lineup, including Peter Buck, Barrett Martin, Alain Johannes, Duke Garwood, Lisette Garcia and Kelsey Mines, is ready to hit the road once again for a round of genre-blending music from veteran musicians.

Following a series of shows last year, from their debut European and U.K. tour to their current North America run, Drink the Sea announced another surprise to global fans.

In an Instagram update, Martin, the drummer and former member of Screaming Trees and Mad Season, shared their scheduled “first ever show” in Brazil.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Peter Buck founding member of R.E.M., performs onstage during The Wild Honey Foundation, Lenny Kaye & Rhino Present, A 50th Anniversary All-Star Celebration Of The Nuggets Compilation Album.

Set for March 25, Drink the Sea will be performing at Casa Rockambole for a one-night show.

“Drink The Sea @drinktheseaofficial is excited to announce our first ever show in Sao Paulo, Brazil at Casa Rockambole @casarockambole on March 25th! Tickets are officially on sale now!” the caption reads.

The post sparked thrilled reactions from fans who couldn’t wait to see the band up close on stage.
