The surprises kept coming at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding reception—and two music legends topped the list.
According to People, music legends Paul McCartneyand Stevie Nicks both performed during the couple’s lavish wedding reception at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3.
McCartney, 84, reportedly treated guests to The Beatles’ chart-topping classic “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” The surprise performances reportedly began after Swift’s mother, Andrea Swift, welcomed guests into the reception space.
“After the ceremony, Taylor’s mom Andrea invited everyone into the reception room where the stage was set up,” a source told the outlet on Saturday, July 4, adding that Nicks, 78, (who has shared a close friendship and mentorship with the pop star for years) also took the stage.
The musical lineup was just one of several personal touches throughout the celebration. Rather than following tradition, Swift reportedly asked her younger brother, Austin Swift, to serve as her “man of honor,” while Kelce’s older brother, Jason Kelce, stood beside him as best man. According to Page Six, actor Adam Sandleralso officiated the ceremony.

Outside, Madison Square Garden made the marriage official in its own unforgettable way. Around 7:30 p.m. ET, the venue’s digital signage lit up with the message, “JUST&T MARRIED!,” confirming the couple had officially tied the knot as guests celebrated inside.
While the couple has kept most details of the celebration tightly under wraps, a social media post from country star Maren Morris offered fans another small glimpse inside the festivities. Morris shared photos from the wedding on Instagram, including an elegant lace handkerchief embroidered with the lyrics “so it’s gonna be forever” from Swift’s hit “Blank Space,” along with the date, “New York City,” and a decorative “T” surrounded by two hearts. She captioned the post, “baby just say yes,” a nod to Swift’s song “Love Story.”
Other stars at the event—which apparently included over 1,000 guests—included Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, Miranda Lambert, and more.
