The Eliza Jane Hotel In New Orleans Joins Marriott’s Autograph Collection

The Eliza Jane, a luxury lifestyle hotel in downtown New Orleans, has joined Marriott International’s Autograph Collection. The property, operated by Makeready, is located in 19th-century warehouses that once housed The Daily Picayune newspaper.

With this affiliation, The Eliza Jane becomes part of the Autograph Collection’s portfolio of over 360 independent hotels. The hotel will also join Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s travel loyalty platform, allowing guests to earn and redeem points, access exclusive member rates, and use digital conveniences.

The Eliza Jane’s design is inspired by its literary and publishing history, reflecting its origins in former newspaper warehouses. The hotel will maintain its existing design, locally inspired programming, and food and beverage offerings.

Makeready will continue to operate The Eliza Jane. The property’s affiliation with Marriott International is described as a brand transition, with the hotel retaining its character and programming while expanding its visibility among international travelers through the Autograph Collection.
