The Wolseley Hotels has announced its global launch with its first hotel set to open in New York City in early 2027.
The Wolseley Hotels, a Minor Hotels brand, will open its inaugural property at 130 West 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan, steps from Bryant Park, in early 2027. This will be the brand’s first hotel worldwide, establishing New York as its flagship destination and introducing The Wolseley restaurant and bar concept to the United States.
The hotel will occupy a landmark building originally constructed in 1905 as the clubhouse for The Lambs Club and designed by McKim, Mead & White. The address is historically associated with Broadway’s creative community and New York’s cultural figures.
The Wolseley Hotel New York will feature 76 guest rooms and suites. The property will include The Wolseley New York restaurant, serving as the brand’s first U.S. location and culinary flagship for North America, offering all-day dining and signature cocktails. Additional amenities will include a cellar-level speakeasy bar and a reimagined wellness and wellbeing centre.
The New York property draws inspiration from The Wolseley restaurant in London, with the brand’s legacy reinterpreted for a global audience. The New York hotel will serve as the foundation for a global rollout, with future properties planned for cities in Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East.
