There’s a secret new pizza spot in the GTA running out of a suburban house window, Canada Reviews

4 June 20262 Mins Read

A GTA pizza maker is once again serving up what some customers are calling the “best pizza” they’ve ever eaten, except the pickup spot isn’t a restaurant.

Mario, the man behind The Hungry Goat Pizza, recently announced that he’ll be selling limited quantities of his delicious pizza from his house on Nahani Way in Mississauga, with pickups running twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The setup is super simple: customers pre-order their pizza by phone, choose an available pickup time and then head to Mario’s house when it’s time to collect their order. Pickup is from the side window marked with The Hungry Goat Pizza logo!

For Tuesday pickup, customers need to pre-order on Monday between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. For Thursday pickup, pre-orders open on Wednesday between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Pickup times run from 4:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., and time slots are first-come, first-served. You’ll want to call early, though: once a slot is gone, it’s gone.

As for what to order, Mario keeps things classic.

The Margherita ($15) is made with tomato sauce, fior di latte, Pecorino Romano, basil and olive oil. There’s also a straight-up Cheese pizza ($15) with tomato sauce, mozzarella and olive oil, while the Pepperoni ($15) adds pepperoni and comes with a hot honey option.

For something a bit richer, the 4-Cheese with Fig Purée ($20) brings together mozzarella, fior di latte, Gorgonzola, Pecorino Romano, olive oil and fig purée. The Bianco ($20) skips the tomato sauce in favour of fior di latte, Pecorino Romano, basil, artichokes, green olives, mushrooms and olive oil, while the Soppressata ($20) is made with tomato sauce and topped with fior di latte, roasted red peppers, green olives and soppressata.

Judging by the response, people are more than ready for the return, with some Instagram users already making plans to pick up a pie or two on the way home from work.

“BEST PIZZA I have ever dam ate”, one user wrote, adding “My kids said the same thing too. OMGGG – definitely making an order for 2 more !!!! ASAP.”

The Hungry Goat Pizza is located at 417 Nahani Way in Mississauga. Follow @thehungrygoatpizza for more info. And don’t just show up! Orders are cash and pickup only.
