This fitness and wellness centre coming to Edmonton is 125,000 square feet of luxury

17 April 20262 Mins Read

This new fitness and wellness centre in Edmonton is going to be absolutely massive.

Altea is an established fitness and wellness brand with multiple locations across Canada. It’s built for Canadians, by Canadians, with a focus on uplifting people and strengthening communities. This new location in West Edmonton will be 125,000 square feet of absolute strength, resilience, and power.

Slated to open Winter 2026, the wait will absolutely be worth it.

What to expect

To begin, every new member gets a complimentary body composition scan. This includes a personalized nutrition plan and a seven-day fitness plan designed around your goals — all before you even take your first class.

When it’s finally open, you can anticipate the biggest and most luxurious fitness centre in all of Edmonton.

Taking over 125,000 square feet on the west side, there will be nine boutique studios with over 400 classes a week. These nine spaces include barre, yoga, pilates, and more.

On top of this, they will offer reformer pilates, mat pilates, hot yoga, boxing, cycle, strength and conditioning, and more. There will also be 10 pickleball courts and four padel courts, all under the same roof.

For you women out there who are like me and like an exclusive space to work out, you can step into their women’ s-only fitness suite.

Moving more into the wellness side of things, you can relax and rejuvenate yourself with cold plunges, dry saunas, steam cabins, experience showers, and a science-backed recovery lounge. There are co-working and member lounges as well. These provide a place to sit with your laptop, with complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the club.

If you get hungry? No problem. There will also be a coffee bar, serving smoothies, and grab-and-go food in addition to all the energy-fueled drinks you might need.

Everything you could ever need from a fitness and wellness centre is all under one roof, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ll keep you updated on any progress made on the facility, as well as the exact opening date in the winter.

Stay tuned, folks, you won’t want to miss this one.

Address: 17303 100th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
