Is it just me, or are kitchen countertops one of the easiest places in the house to lose control of? You start with good intentions, keeping everything neat and tidy, with plenty of room to chop vegetables, prep ingredients and actually make a meal. Then real life happens. The coffee maker lives there, along with the toaster, blender, air fryer, stand mixer and that one appliance you bought because it promised to make your life easier (and you really did have every intention of using it). Your precious prep space is now an obstacle course of cords and bulky gadgets. The irony is that all these little helpers are supposed to make cooking less stressful, not leave you with nowhere to cook.
Nobody wants to give up the appliances that make weeknight dinners or weekend meal prep more manageable. And if you’re working with a smaller kitchen, every inch of counter space matters even more. That’s why anything that can pull double (or triple!) duty deserves a closer look.

Bella 10-in-1 8.5qt Multi-Cooker, $79.99 at Costco
Costco
This Bella 10-in-1 8.5qt Multi-Cooker is exclusive to Costco and just $79.99 (most multi-cookers of this size start at $100 and work their way up in price). It combines the jobs of several pots, pans and appliances into one 8.5-quart pot, with settings for everything from searing and sautéing to slow cooking, steaming, making rice and keeping food warm.
I’ve tested the Bella 10-in-1 8.5qt Multi-Cooker in my own kitchen and by far my favorite feature is the generous capacity which allows you to cook enough for up to 12 people, yet it somehow still feels compact. I have a family of five, so it’s especially helpful when you want to ensure there are plenty of leftovers for a meal the next day.

The multi-cooker has ceramic nonstick coating for easy cleanup, and the removable accessories are dishwasher-safe. That’s always welcome when you’re already dealing with a sink full of dishes. Think of it as a way to get more cooking options without adding another handful of bulky gadgets to your kitchen.
I’m not the only person who’s been won over by Bella’s latest small appliance. My fellow Costco shoppers are also enjoying its convenience.
“We purchased this and made a great pot roast in it,” says a customer in their review. “The sauté feature heated up very quickly for me to sear it, then used the slow cook feature until the meat was done. We then used the sauté mode again to make an easy gravy all in the pot after pulling the meat out. We haven’t used the other features yet but it was promising for our needs!”
With the holidays coming up, Bella’s multi-cooker makes for an incredible gift, especially for a person who finds themselves hosting a lot of company. And at this price, you don’t even need to wait for a sale.
