Toronto Raptors got a boost of confidence heading into the team’s first playoff series in years as Brandon Ingram was named the NBA’s Player of the Week for the Eastern Conference.
Ingram led the team to a crucial 3-1 record down the stretch securing the Raptor’s the fifth seed in the playoffs.
The seven-foot forward who joined the team last season from the New Orleans Pelicans average 25.5 points and 6.5 rebounds over that four-game period.

The team is headed to Cleveland for a first round match-up versus the fourth seed Cavaliers, which is set to begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
Cleveland is heavily favoured to win the series, but the Raptors did sweep the season series against them. But, a lot has changed since November when the two Eastern Conference foes last clashed, most importantly the addition of future Hall of Fame guard James Harden.
