Toronto’s getting an 18-day country festival with mechanical bulls and line dancing

29 July 20263 Mins Read

Toronto Country Fest is the city’s newest, western-inspired experience taking over this historic district for 18 days. With bull riding, line dancing, and carnival-style games, the rowdy country festival is coming to Toronto next month.

Starting Thursday, Aug. 6, the Toronto Country Fest will bring 18 days of live entertainment, western-inspired experiences, and family-friendly activities to The Distillery District.

What to expect at this year’s Toronto Country Fest

Visitors will have the chance to explore the district by doing a little shopping, enjoying some delicious bites, and partaking in thrilling experiences. It’ll run daily from 1 p.m. until late.

Now, as for what you can expect from the Toronto Country Fest, here’s a breakdown:

  • Outdoor line dancing with intermediate lessons on Wednesdays and beginner lessons on Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m.,

  • Nashville Nights every Friday and Saturday with DJs,

  • Mechanical bull riding,

  • Free kids’ activity area with face painting, carnival-style games and western-themed experiences,

  • A Ferris wheel starting Aug. 11,

  • Festival-inspired menus, summer cocktails and sweet treats from 10 participating Distillery restaurants and cafes,

  • BBQ favourites from Distillery Super Grill,

  • Sip and sample with free tequila tastings on Fridays and Saturdays; beer tastings on Saturdays and Sundays in the Pure Spirits Courtyard,

  • Western-inspired photo opportunities, including a 10’ sunflower arch, hay bales, oversized guitars, “Wanted” posters and the “Fill Yer Boots” installation,

  • Shop local at covered wagon vendor displays and art carts featuring local makers and artisans

Whether you see it as a great way to start the month or the best way to end the summer season, Toronto Country Fest is about to make some noise. And we don’t want to miss out on some core memory experiences.

Now, who wants to go first on the mechanical bull?

When: Aug. 6 to 23, 2026
Time: Daily from 1 p.m. to late
Where: The Distillery Historic District — 55 Mill St.
Cost: Admission is free; some activities may be paid
