White House unveils new app available to download.
President Donald Trump’s administration launched a new White House mobile app for users to receive updates on news, briefings and alerts.
Last week, the administration posted to X, after a series of updates teasing something new coming. According to a news release sent out last week, the app allows the public a new way to receive real-time updates, live video, photos and receive push alerts from the administration.
What we know:
The app, available to download now from your app store, will have breaking news alerts, announcements and other key priorities. You can also watch live streams of briefings, speeches and other moments as they happen live. You can also stay updated on policy initiatives and topics.
Additionally, the app has multiple ways to connect with the administration, consolidating social media feeds, offering email an option and a “Text President Trump” button.
The White House app includes an ICE tip line
Included as part of the app’s new “access” to the administration is the ability to send tips directly to ICE, through a dedicated tip link that takes you directly to ICE’s tip form on their website.
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has faced intense criticism over the past few months. President Trump has strongly supported and defended the agency’s purpose and tactics, even expanding its role, funding and staffing.
