Western Canada’s wildest custom cars are rolling into Calgary for this auto event

The Rev Up Autoshow is taking over Calgary this summer, bringing together some of Western Canada’s most impressive custom cars for a one-day celebration of car culture. Often known as the Midnight Rev Up, this touring event has built a strong reputation across the region for showcasing some of the most detailed and creative aftermarket builds on the road.

From one city to the next, it draws in car enthusiasts and builders who come to show off, connect, and share a passion for automotive design.

Built, boosted, and ready to show out

Rev Up showcases premium automotive builds you don’t usually see in everyday life. The show typically features over 300 cars, making it one of the largest curated showcases of custom builds in Western Canada.

According to organizers, only high-quality aftermarket and custom builds make it into the final lineup, ensuring that only the best is on display. Each vehicle brings something different to the floor, which means everything from aggressive body kits to custom paint jobs and performance-focused modifications.

But it’s not just about the vehicles. Alongside car displays, visitors can explore lifestyle vendor booths offering everything from automotive gear to streetwear, adding another layer to the overall experience,

The tour travels throughout Alberta. kicking off the season in Edmonton before making its way to Calgary.

The autoshow will take place on Saturday, July 18, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Telus Convention Centre in downtown Calgary, with its central location making it easy to access if you’re coming from within the city or surrounding areas.

Tickets are priced between $8 and $16, and children ages six and under, along with seniors over 65, will receive free admission.

The event is family-friendly and accessible to all ages, featuring a variety of cars, vendors, and entertainment for both enthusiasts and casual visitors. It’s designed to offer a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere with plenty of space to roam and explore at your own pace.

So whether you’re deep into car culture or just someone who appreciates a good custom build, Rev Up Autoshow has something for everyone. It’s an easy way to spend a few hours downtown, taking in some of the best custom builds in Western Canada, all in one place.
