Why you don’t want to miss out on the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival

2 March 20263 Mins Read

Edmonton’s biggest celebration of craft beverages is tapping back into town this weekend for two full days of brews, bites, and good vibes.

The Edmonton Craft Beer Festival is happening at the Edmonton Expo Centre on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, and tickets are still available.

From beers, spirits, and ready-to-drink sips to live music, DJs, games, and a buzzing crowd of fellow festival-goers, the whole experience is designed to be as much about the atmosphere as what’s in your glass. Here’s everything to expect — and why you don’t want to miss out on the fun.

More than just brews

Don’t be misled by the title — the festival lineup stretches far beyond beer. Guests can sample everything from cider and spirits to ready-to-drink and non-alcoholic options, alongside pours from the breweries you already know and love.

Expect to see local favourites like Odd Company Brewing, Campio Brewing Co., and Polyrhythm Brewing, along with national picks like Vancouver Island Brewing, Yukon Brewing, or Yellow Dog Brewing Co. With so much to sip and savour, you can take your taste buds on a tour of Canada!

Be sure to bring your appetite because you can also use your tickets on the many food vendors serving up a bunch of different cultural cuisines. Think classic pub fare from The Druid, fresh tacos from Super Amigos, sweet treats from Fuzion Donuts, and lots more.

Between sampling, eating, and enjoying the games set up throughout the event, the Edmonton Craft Beer Festival is the place to be. And better yet, the fun doesn’t stop at last call.

Epic afterparties are on the roster for Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday evening, and with headliners including Night Vision, TKO, and Raise Your State, you can count on great beats to take you well into the night. Be sure to wear your dancing shoes!

Price of admission

General admission starts at $29.99 and includes entry to the festival plus a commemorative sample mug. Food and drink tokens can be purchased separately onsite. Want to bundle it up? A $89.99 general admission package gets you entry, the sample mug, $40 in tasting tokens, and access to the afterparty.

If you want to take it to the next level, VIP admission is $49.99 and comes with early entry, access to a brand-new VIP lounge, private washrooms, a dedicated entrance, a VIP lanyard, a sample mug, and complimentary access to all beverage seminars. The VIP package includes everything above, along with $40 in tasting tokens and an afterparty ticket.

Don’t let this epic weekend pass you by! Visit apresfestivals.com to purchase your package and get ready to enjoy a weekend full of a variety of beverages, mouthwatering eats, and live music in a celebration of the craft and community that make Edmonton so great.
