Bargain hunters will be happy to hear that Winners, the off-price Canadian department store, is coming to Square One Shopping Centre, the largest mall in Ontario.
The retailer will take over a two-floor unit on Level 2, previously occupied by fashion brand Urban Behavior. The transition has been in the works since last summer, when a spokesperson confirmed the store’s closure in early 2025. The announcement was followed by a major liquidation sale as the brand prepared to vacate the space.
Winners was first introduced in 1982, opening its first location in Toronto and quickly establishing itself as a go-to destination for shoppers seeking one-of-a-kind and branded items at discounted prices.
It seems Winners has recently seen rapid growth, as it opened a new location at Toronto’s Scarborough Town Centre in August 2025. Its latest store at Square One Shopping Centre is set to open on April 20 and will be accessible through Entrance 7 of the mall.
Square One Shopping Centre is located at 100 City Centre Dr. in Mississauga, Ont.
