IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

With both Venus and Uranus in the money area of your chart on your birthday your finances are in line for a major boost this year. That is not, however, an invitation to go on a spree. Put your profits away for the proverbial rainy day.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Lady Luck is smiling on you again and if you are smart you will do everything in your power to invite her into your life. Start by not wasting time on activities that don’t take you closer to your long-term goals. Make every minute count.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The message of the stars today is that you need to get your act together and make more progress either in your career or in a creative activity of some kind. Life has been a bit too easy of late, so you need to get moving again.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

It may look as if you are not very busy at the moment, and in a physical sense that is probably true, but your mind is constantly on the go and what you think about today will become your reality tomorrow. Never undervalue your brain power.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

The pace of life will get hectic over the next few days but you can easily find ways to stay ahead of the game. While others are rushing here, there and everywhere you must stay calm so you can deal sensibly with a so-called crisis.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

It’s not in your nature to sit back and see what happens, you prefer to make things happen yourself. That’s great, but the planets warn this could be one of those rare occasions when it might be better to hunker down for a day or two.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Stop trying to juggle several tasks at once and focus on the one or two things that will bring the best returns on your investment of time and energy. Keeping so many balls in the air may be entertaining for others but it could be costly for you.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Do you have a clear idea of what it is you want accomplish? If you do, then put everything into it over the next few days. If you don’t, then maybe you need to cut back on your busy social life and get serious about the future.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Be nice to everyone you meet today and tomorrow, because when the full moon arrives in your sign on Friday the universe will see to it that you receive in proportion to what you have given. It doesn’t take much effort to smile and say “hello”.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Refuse to do anything underhand or of questionable legality today. Even if you think there is no chance you will be held to account the approaching full moon will cast an unflattering light on your activities. Play by the book, it’s safer.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Although the sun in the most dynamic area of your chart makes you glad to be alive there is a full moon coming up that could bring unexpected challenges. Some of those challenges may be of an emotional nature, so try not to overreact.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You have never been the sort to modify your behaviour just because others expect it of you, but it might be wise to tone down your act a bit over the next few days. Unless, of course, you enjoy antagonizing people whose power exceeds your own.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You have been trying to conform to an image that other people have of you but that you don’t really have of yourself. Make it your number one aim today and up until the weekend to be yourself on every level. So you’re different - so what?
