IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A new phase begins on your birthday and to make the most of it you must leave behind all those anxieties and guilt complexes you have been carrying around for so long. It’s time to embark on the next stage of your human adventure.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

The most important thing as the week begins is that you focus on the bigger picture and don’t lose yourself in details that don’t really matter. Forget about drawing up intricate plans and schedules and just do what your instincts tell you.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The sun in the most dynamic area of your chart will give you all the courage and confidence you need to tackle tasks that on other occasions might be too much for you. Don’t go to extremes this week, but do follow your dreams.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You can accomplish a great deal over the next few days by working with people who share your aims and ambitions. You will be on the same level of thinking to such an extent that it’s almost as if you can read each other’s minds.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Mars in your sign gives you the drive and determination to get things done but you must make sure that you have a clear vision of where you are going and what you aim to achieve. If not, a lot of your efforts could go to waste.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You have so much to be thankful for and so much to look forward to, and even though the sun has now left your sign, you still possess the energy and ambition to make your mark. Work hard over the next few days, and play hard as well.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The days of working quietly behind the scenes are over and with your ruling planet Mercury about to join the sun in your sign, there is no reason why you need to hide yourself away. Your audience wants you to put on a show.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If you want to impress someone in a position of authority you must call on the power of Venus in your sign to charm your way into their good books. A more aggressive approach not only won’t work but could be counter-productive.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Other people will make decisions for you if you let them, but the message of the stars for the week ahead is that you must be the one who seizes the initiative and calls the shots. Career-wise, you still have a great deal going for you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

The sun in the area of your chart that governs your professional status is about to be joined there by Mercury, planet of communication. That means there is no excuse for neglecting to make a noise about what you are capable of, so speak up!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

As one of the zodiac’s Earth signs, you tend to avoid taking risks, but the sun’s recent move into the most adventurous area of your chart will negate that. If you feel like striking out in a new direction, just do it. Broaden your horizons.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Ignorance may be bliss, but if you stumble upon a situation that could benefit from your assistance, you can’t just pretend not to have noticed. Your special ability to turn negative inputs into positive outcomes will be much in demand this week.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

If you feel the need to criticize what someone gets up to, that’s fine, but don’t go too far and paint them as some kind of criminal. Call it as you see it, but make allowances for other people’s failings – as they make allowances for you.
