IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Draw a thick red line under the past and refuse to step back over it no matter how tempted you may be to do so. The future is ahead of you, not behind, and the universe has plans that will make your journey a lot more exciting.

There may be a lot of changes going on in your world at the moment but you will handle them all with ease. You are at your best when being put to the test, so don’t try to get away from challenges this week, seek them out instead.

You are worrying for no good reason and need to move on from the negative outlook that seems to have taken root in your subconscious. Life is not as bad as you appear to believe and many good things will be happening this week.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

There were occasions over the past few weeks when you found yourself at odds with the kind of people it’s not a good idea to upset. Now though you must shift your mindset away from confrontation and towards co-operation. You can do that.

With so much cosmic activity in your opposite sign it’s natural you might start to believe that the whole world is against you but it isn’t remotely true. The next few days will make it clear just how many people are on your side – just about everyone!

Take time out of your busy schedule to look a bit further ahead and imagine where you might be and what you might be doing three months, six months or even a year from now. Always have something good to look forward to.

Ignore the latest fad or fashion and follow what your inner voice is telling you is the right thing to do. It doesn’t matter if at times you feel like the odd one out, it matters only that you stay true to your own guiding light.

If you want to avoid confrontation as the new week begins you must be sensible and work out where clashes are most likely to occur – and then avoid those locations. Cross the street if you have to. It’s common sense, not cowardice.

You may be under pressure to deliver on what you promised but don’t let others panic you into moving too fast and potentially making a bad job of it. Even if you have a deadline to meet you must stay calm and move at your own pace.

The more good ideas you come up with the more of an effort you will have to make to win others round to your way of thinking. It may be frustrating that they are playing hard to get but it’s a game they will get tired of eventually.

Can you trust your own thoughts? Of course you can. In fact the more others try to persuade you that a rethink may be necessary the more determined you must be to push ahead. All the momentum is on your side, so keep going!

There is nothing so wrong with your life that it cannot be improved by doing something you really enjoy. Don’t worry that friends and colleagues might think you are slacking off – this is one of those occasions when doing less means achieving more.

Are you having second thoughts about the direction your life has been taking in recent weeks? If so, rest assured it is perfectly natural. There is so much going on in the world at the moment that everyone seems a little less sure of themselves.
