IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Jupiter’s influence on your birthday will encourage you to widen your sphere of activities but don’t take on so many new projects that your existing interests get swamped. Draw up a one-to-10 plan for the year ahead and stick to it rigidly.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Something a friend says or does today may shock you but only because you were not paying attention to what they’ve been up to. Treat it as a reminder that, no matter how much you think you may know someone, you can never take them for granted.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You may disagree with what your employer or a senior colleague is doing on the work front but the fact is they have the power and you do not, so do what they tell you, make a good job of it, and only complain about it after the fact.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If you try to force an issue that does not need to be forced you could find that your efforts have the opposite effect to what you desired. The omens are so good for you at the moment that you don’t need to be pushy at all.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If you focus on what others are doing it will take away some of your power to get things done for yourself, so quit trying to control other people’s actions and focus on your own. You have a bigger say over your fate than you seem to realize.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You can tell that there is something going on behind the scenes but you cannot for the life of you work out what it is. No doubt that’s frustrating but it is also your current reality, so stop worrying and deal only with what you can see.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You may be on top of your work but some of your friends and colleagues will be all over the place today. Push ahead on your own if you can but be ready for those times when you have to deal with more disorganized minds.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The message of the stars today is that it may be better to let your mind wander rather than focus on one particular aim. The more you take in from the world around you the more likely it is you will see and profit from the bigger picture.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you get mixed messages from a loved one today don’t think it’s because they don’t want you to know about their plans. More likely it means they are unsure about what move to make next and need some time and space to figure it out.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

The good times just keep getting better and what occurs over the next 24 hours will bring a huge smile to your face. Your social life is especially well starred at the moment, so get out and about and give the world the pleasure of your company.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Fads and fashions come and go but some things stay the same and one such thing is your ability to cut through the fog of unimportant details and get to the heart of the matter. Your mental powers will be much in demand today.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You need to be more focused in your thinking, especially on the work front where if you let other people make decisions for you the results are likely to be negative. In a nutshell: If a job is worth doing it might be best to do it yourself.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Something you used to find quite hard will start to come easy to you today and over the weekend. What seems to have changed is that your subconscious mind has taken in enough recent lessons to make a quantum jump in understanding.
