Dare to be different over the coming year, even if you fear that friends and loved ones won’t be happy about the choices you make. The simple fact is you don’t need their permission or support to be the very best person you can be.

There is nothing wrong with being pushy, and you are good at it too, but while the sun is moving through one of the more sensitive areas of your chart it might be wise not to come on too strong, because others could push back even harder.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Energy and enthusiasm are the keys to making this one of the best weeks of the year so far. It’s no good just having a dream, you have got to live it as well, so get motivated and get moving over the next few days.

Try not to be too bossy when dealing with people whose advice and assistance you will most likely need over the coming week. If they feel you are expecting too much of them they could decide not to give you anything at all.

Now the sun is moving through your sign you won’t need much encouragement to go after objectives that previously may have been beyond your reach. Your can-do attitude will inspire those around you as well. They want to be like you.

This may be a challenging time for you but that is not an excuse to feel sorry for yourself, or worse, hold back from pursuing your dream. Focus on what you are good at and expect a major breakthrough before the end of the week.

A week from now your ruler Mercury will begin one of its retrograde phases, so between now and then you must strive to get as much work done as possible. Expect great things of yourself and don’t let other people’s doubts hold you back.

It may seem as if the odds are stacked against you at the moment but if you treat that as a challenge rather than a burden you will accomplish more than you expected to over the next few days. A positive mindset is a must.

If you think that a friend or loved one is doing something wrong then you must speak up about it. They may not appreciate your intervention now but they will do later on when it turns out that your judgment was right all along.

It may seem suspicious that someone you don’t usually think of as a friend or ally is saying nice things about you but on this occasion they are most likely telling the truth. You have, after all, had a lot of successes lately.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

It’s natural to be concerned with all the bad things going on in the world but don’t let it get to you to such an extent that you can no longer function. Focus on your own interests and let others worry about what might come next.

It may not be possible to make sense of what is taking place around you but that does not mean it is senseless. What happens today will clarify the situation enough for you to quit fretting and start pushing ahead again with your dreams.

You cannot turn the clock back but you can ignore the passage of time, at least for a while. Immerse yourself in an activity that fulfils your need to create something of lasting value in the world. Don’t just think about it, start it!
