IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A lunar eclipse on your birthday means that the obstacles you face this year will be daunting, but also that in overcoming them you will lift yourself to a higher level of satisfaction, the kind that comes from knowing you really do have what it takes.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If a work colleague is making life difficult for you at the moment you must read them the riot act and make it clear you are in no mood too play silly games. These are serious times and you must deal only with serious people.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

What happens today could be seen as good news or bad news depending on how you choose to interpret the situation. It is more likely to be good news if you are willing to accept that change, while inevitable, can also be enjoyable.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Today’s lunar eclipse will highlight competing aims. On the one hand you want to do more in your career, and on the other you want to spend more time with the people you love. If you are smart and plan ahead you can actually do both.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Don’t be too proud to ask others for a helping hand today. No matter how self-sufficient you may be what you are faced with now is not something that can easily be handled by a single person. Only a team effort will make it work.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Today’s lunar eclipse could coax you into doing something silly and you may end up having to pay out a considerable sum of money just to get things back to how they were before. Look before you leap if you want to stay out of debt.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If you are being stopped from taking a risk of some kind it can only be because the universe does not want you to take it, at least not yet. Rest assured there will be plenty more opportunities to show what you are capable of.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Most likely you could not care less what your rivals and enemies think about you but today’s lunar eclipse warns you cannot afford just to ignore it. If you don’t answer their criticisms firmly enough more people could start believing them.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You must keep a firm hold on your emotions today, because if you let them loose even a little bit you could find yourself at the bottom of a slippery slope very quickly. If you lose your temper there may be no finding it again.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Keep your thoughts about someone you work with to yourself today. They may deserve to be criticized but even if what you say about them is true you may come across as a bit of a bully, and that’s one thing you most certainly are not.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The sun in the communications area of your chart will inspire you to speak up over the next 24 hours but it’s unlikely that other people will understand what you are trying to say. Maybe it’s best to keep what you know to yourself, for now.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

What you need to keep reminding yourself today is that nothing in life is inevitable. It may seem as if you are powerless to stop yourself being pushed in a direction you don’t want to go but that isn’t true. Just say “No” and mean it.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You won’t be able to hide your feelings today so don’t waste your time trying. If someone lets you down or in some other way gets on your nerves you must let them know they won’t get away with it, no matter how big a tantrum they throw.
