From live entertainment to sports and local events, there’s quite a bit going on this weekend, and we’ve rounded up 10 of our top picks.

Looking for something to do with your little ones this weekend? The Little Wonders Festival is a morning packed full of interactive storytelling, hands-on art activities, and lots of imaginative play.

Mamma Mia! is coming to Calgary, bringing the hit musical set on a sunny Greek island and packed with songs you already know. The story follows a bride as she tries to figure out who her dad is, leading to three unexpected visitors from her mother’s past.

The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Earl Lee, is bringing Mahler’s First Symphony to the stage for a powerful night of music. The pieces move from light, spring-inspired themes to darker sections before building to a dramatic finale.

If you’re into comedy that’s weird and unpredictable in the best way, Dale Ward is definitely one you won’t want to miss. He’s built an online following of over 215,000 fans, and his clips have gone viral with millions of views.

The Servus Calgary Marathon is Canada’s longest-running marathon and one of Alberta’s biggest road races, bringing together over 30,000 participants each year.

The race weekend runs over two days: the 5-kilometre and 10-kilometre races take place on Saturday, and the half-marathon and full-marathon take place on Sunday.

Calling all Fleetwood Mac fans, this one’s for you. Rumours is a Fleetwood Mac tribute band from Los Angeles known for recreating the band’s iconic sound, look and energy. Expect classics like “Dreams,” “The Chain,” and “Go Your Own Way.”

Ranchman’s is turning its patio into an outdoor theatre under the stars. They’ll be screening Cool Runnings at the same location where parts of the film were originally shot.
