Fall is here, and so is the first weekend of October. Luckily for us, the weather has been on the warmer side, so we’re enjoying it as much as we can. Good thing there are tons of things to do in Toronto that will keep us outdoors.

Here are 10 of the best things to do this weekend in Toronto.

Harry’s Charbroiled Burgers and Boxcar Social are teaming up for a limited-time breakfast collab, exclusively at Waterworks Food Hall.

Launching Friday, Oct. 2, the menu will include vegetarian, bacon and burger breakfast sandwiches, plus a feature sandwich, with pricing starting at $14.50. Enjoy coffee combos, crispy hash browns, and cookies too.

When: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting Oct. 2, 2026
Time: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: Waterworks Food Hall – 50 Brant St., with orders placed through Boxcar Social
Cost: Starting at $14.50

Dubbed Public Pier, this new project transforms Marina Quay West (beside Toronto Music Garden and opposite the Canada Malting Silohs) into a day-to-night destination with public programming that includes food markets, DJs and even line dancing.

When: Friday, Oct. 2 and Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026

Halloween Haunt is back at Canada’s Wonderland with unforgettable thrills like The Conjuring: Beyond Fear immersive attraction. “Face your fears in terrifying scare zones and haunted mazes, encounter hundreds of monsters, enjoy thrilling night rides and sinister live shows,” shares the amusement park.

When: Select nights until Nov. 1, 2026
Time: 6 p.m. to late
Where: 1 Canada’s Wonderland Dr., Vaughan, Ont.
Cost: Tickets start at $45, plus applicable taxes and fees

Founder of Pov Beauty, Mikayla Nogueira, is coming to Toronto for an exclusive in-store meet-and-greet on Oct. 3, 2026. Guests who attend will have access to an exclusive gift-with-purchase offer, available in person at the event only. This offer is available while supplies last and is limited to one per person. It’s all going down from 2 to 4 p.m.

When: Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026.
Time: From 2 to 4 p.m.
Where: Sephora Toronto Eaton Centre – 220 Yonge St.

Saturday brunch plans are here! Chotto Matte has launched a new brunch experience featuring a decadent menu, catering to both sweet and savoury profiles.

The menu includes eats such as the Millionaire Loaded Tots, which are piled high with truffle Parmesan, glazed bacon and guacamole; Nikkei Avocado Toast brightened with shichimi, feta and pickled onion; and Buttermilk Pancakes topped with maple-glazed plantain and blueberries.

The new Shibuya Toast is also a mouthwatering addition. It’s a thick toast with cinnamon-honey butter, custard cream and caramelized banana, finished tableside with a flash of flame.

The fall season is slowly starting to creep in, Toronto. That means crisp morning air, hues of orange and red, and lots — and I mean LOTS — of pumpkins. Halloween Nights of Lights and Pumpkinville returns this month and is set to illuminate the night sky with over 1.5 million dazzling lights, midway rides, seasonal eats, and more than 15,000 real pumpkins.

When: Select dates starting Friday, Sept. 25 to Nov. 1, 2026
Time: Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight, Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.
Where: CF Sherway Gardens, Outdoor Parking Lot — 25 The West Mall, Etobicoke, Ont.
Cost: Adults – $21.99+fees; Child – $16.99+fees

All 10 of the Toronto History Museums have free admission at all times.

According to the City of Toronto, this is “to provide everyone an opportunity to fully participate in cultural heritage and spaces.”
