6 spots in and around Edmonton where you can get a pumpkin spice latte

2 October 20263 Mins Read

As we jump headfirst into the fun fall season, the beloved pumpkin spice latte is popping up at cafes all around the Edmonton area.

This seasonal drink appears on cafe and coffee house menus across the city every autumn. We’ve done the duty of rounding up some spots in and around Edmonton where you’ll be able to find them. If you’re in search of a pumpkin spice latte, look no further, because we’ve definitely got you covered.

While Starbucks didn’t invent the concept of pumpkin and coffee together, the coffee chain certainly helped popularize the combination when it rolled out the seasonal offering in 2004. Now, every year during the fall, Starbucks roll out this drink to the roaring fans across the country.

This year, according to Starbucks, the drink dropped on Aug. 25 and will be available throughout the fall season.

When: Daily
Time: Varies by store location
Where: Various locations

Nestled in the neighbourhood of Calder, Boxcar is one of Edmonton’s best coffee shops, serving up delicious beverages and unforgettable desserts. The business launched its pumpkin spice latte in late September, and it’s made with house-made pumpkin puree.

When: Daily
Time: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Sunday to Wednesday; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday
Where: 11926 129th Ave. NW, Edmonton

Over north in St. Albert, Ahlan Coffee House released two versions of the popular drink: one hot and one cold. It’s up to you whether you want your latte warm and steaming or perfectly iced.

When: Daily
Time: 8 a.m. to midnight
Where: 130 Bellerose Dr. #115, St. Albert

Joining Malina Cafe and Bakery’s new fall menu is the classic pumpkin spice latte, and you can even get it with the most adorable pumpkin-shaped marshmallows. Plus, if you’re stopping by for a latte, check out the pastries; you won’t regret it.

When: Tuesday to Sunday
Time: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 629 Cameron Heights Dr. NW, Edmonton

Block 1912 is a stellar spot to visit any time of the year, with its twinkling lights and cozy atmosphere. It’s also got a hefty menu of drinks and treats, with the pumpkin spice latte officially back for 2026 as of Oct. 2.

When: Daily
Time: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday; 9 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays
Where: 10361 Whyte Ave. NW, Edmonton

Once again, for those trekking up into St. Albert, Carmela’s Whisk Bakeshop and Coffeehouse is a cute spot for dates, casual hangs with friends, and even solo study sessions.

In addition to the pumpkin spice latte, its seasonal menu also offers a pumpkin chai latte, spiced maple flat white, and an Earl Grey matcha (coming soon, according to its Instagram).

When: Monday to Saturday
Time: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday
Where: 1 Tache St., St. Albert

Next time you’re heading out this season, don’t forget to pick up a pumpkin spice latte on the way. Put on your cable-knit sweater, grab some friends, and get ready to make the most of this fall.
