The Straw Hats are officially back! Netflix has just dropped the massive first trailer for ONE PIECE Season 2, titled Into the Grand Line, confirming a March 2026 release date, a global fan tour, and a special message from creator Eiichiro Oda.

It’s been a long wait since the live-action adaptation of ONE PIECE took the world by storm in late 2023, but the journey to the Grand Line is finally about to begin. Today, Netflix pulled back the curtain on the highly anticipated second season, giving us our first look at the next chapter of Monkey D. Luffy’s quest to become King of the Pirates.

The new trailer promises a massive scale-up for the series as the Straw Hat crew leaves the East Blue behind and enters the “Pirate Graveyard” known as the Grand Line. We get glimpses of “bizarre islands” and the “formidable new enemies” mentioned in the official synopsis.

A Special Message from Eiichiro Oda

As is tradition with the live-action series, creator Eiichiro Oda is heavily involved. Alongside the trailer, Netflix shared a personally penned letter from Oda-Sensei sharing his excitement for the new season:

“It’s almost ready!! With Season 1, we faced the world’s question head-on: “Can ONE PIECE really be adapted into live-action?!” and the answer spoke for itself, reaching the Top 10 in 93 countries and territories, and No. 1 in 46!

Wow!!

Together with the stellar production team that delivered those brilliant results, we bring you Season 2, which will head into the Grand Line, the most formidable sea in the world. In other words, all the conventions that were established in Season 1 will be shattered. A parade of Devil Fruit users, a race of giants never before seen, adorable creatures, hard-hitting action, and stunning VFX – this season is packed with even more highlights!! Let yourself be drawn into an immersive experience that’s unique to live-action.

May this show reach every adventurous spirit across the world!!

One month until we set sail. Get ready!!”

The images also introduce Lera Abova as the mysterious Miss All Sunday (Nico Robin), David Dastmalchian as the villainous Mr. 3, and Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday.
