Still Not Over 'Heated Rivalry'? Target's Must-Have Unofficial Merch Will Keep the Love Affair Going Strong

Although we’re definitely still reeling from Bad Bunny’s history-making Super Bowl halftime show, we haven’t fully moved on from Heated Rivalry, which wrapped season one on Dec. 26, 2025, either. The steamy queer drama that broke the internet and became one of the touchstones to define the era has a way of lingering with you long after the credits roll. Whether you tuned in for the plentiful romance scenes or you’re fully in it for the plot, Heated Rivalry has something for everyone. It’s a full-bodied, unapologetic depiction of love that forces you to sit with your own romantic experiences, no matter what identifiers you subscribe to.

Even if you haven’t seen the show, it’s likely infiltrated your social feeds, and you probably have several friends who have recommended it to you more than once. If you couldn’t tell, we’re obsessed. And outside of watching it for the seventh time, the only thing that could tame our appetite would be for season two to drop. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to find out when Shane and Ilya will finally grace our screens again, but in the meantime, we can showcase our newfound and totally random love of hockey with Target’s cheeky new collection.

At just $36.99, it comes in crimson, blue jean, and moss colorways and features a relaxed vintage fit that gives off major Ilya vibes.

Target even has a long-sleeve tee that’s perfect if you’re planning to attend your first hockey game. This all-black $21.99 pullover, made of breathable fabric, is great for layering and features the phrase “I Watch Hockey for the Romance” on the front. That’s exactly why we watch, too.

Regardless of your level of obsession with Heated Rivalry, you can’t go wrong with one of these must-have tees from Target. And even if they’re not your style, they would make a great Valentine’s Day gift for the Scott to your Kip. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ve got to rewatch the show for the eleventh time—for scientific purposes, obviously.
