March is here, and that means the countdown to spring has officially begun. But until then, why not enjoy all the fun winter activities that have consumed the city these last few weeks? Lucky for you, there are tons of things to do in Toronto this week.

Ready to dive in? Here are 10 of the best things to do this week in the city.

Any Leafs fans out there? Just teasing, of course there are! Well, Leafs Nation, the team is facing off against the Philadelphia Flyers this week.

When: March 2, 2026
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Scotiabank Arena — 40 Bay St.
Cost: $98+

Tickets are still available to see Mariah the Scientist at History this week.

When: March 5 and 6, 2026
Time: 7 p.m.
Where: History — 1663 Queen St. E.
Cost: $230+

Cheer on the Raps on Tuesday as they face off against the New York Knicks.

When: March 3, 2026
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Scotiabank Arena — 40 Bay St.
Cost: $71+

Celebrating its third year, Illuminite will explore the theme of “Play” through several immersive light-based installations, according to the Downtown Yonge BIA. They will be spread across five unique locations in the Downtown Yonge area.

When: Until March 8, 2026

Cost: Free

Now extended! Winter isn’t done with Toronto just yet.

The Bentway has announced that its figure-eight outdoor skate trail will remain open through Sunday, March 8. Have fun!

Time: Monday to Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from noon to 9 p.m.
Where: 250 Fort York Blvd.
Cost: Free admission

Running until March 27, 2026, Lumière: The Art of Light will take over the Ontario Place Park, lighting up the night sky from 6 to 11 p.m.

When: Until March 27, 2026
Time: 6 to 11 p.m.
Where: Ontario Place, Trillium Park — 955 Lake Shore Blvd. W.
Cost: Free

Talk about a blast from the past! Hotel X Toronto is bringing back its popular Retro Arcade, offering an all-access pass for players to fall in love with classic gaming all over again.

Relive timeless favourites and even some newbies, including Monster Kart, eight-player foosball, Extreme Shot, motorcycle racing, Dance Dance Revolution, and so much more.

When: Until March 22, 2026
Time: Daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Where: Hotel X Toronto — 111 Princes’ Blvd.
Cost: $27.18 for an all-day play pass.

Beginning Family Day, Winter Stations invites all to embrace and experience this year’s theme, Mirage. According to organizers, the competition “invited proposals that play with the boundary between what is seen and what is real in the age of AI, and explore public art as infrastructure that gathers people in shared reality.”

Time: Any time
Where: Woodbine Beach — 1675 Lake Shore Blvd. E.
Cost: Free

Open daily from dawn until dusk, Roots Rink at 1 Hotel Toronto is the latest addition to the area, welcoming visitors and locals to enjoy a day on the rink. The long and narrow rink is completely free for public use, making it a great spot to enjoy some time on the ice.

When: Now until March 2026, weather permitting
Time: Dawn until dusk
Where: 550 Wellington St. W.
Cost: Free

Another immersive experience is coming to Toronto, and this time, it’s bringing a vibrant and dreamlike world to life. Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience will feature over 300 of Monet’s creations, transforming them into interactive works of art.

When: Running until spring 2026; Daily times, closed Tuesdays
Time: Timed entries
Where: YZD — 30 Hanover Rd.
Cost: $32.90 for adults, and $24.90 for children
