David Wilner Named Chief Development Officer for North America at Wyndham

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has appointed Amit Sripathi as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, and named David Wilner as Chief Development Officer for North America.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Inc. has appointed Amit Sripathi as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Sripathi, who most recently served as Chief Development Officer – North America, succeeds Kurt Albert, who has served as Interim Chief Financial Officer since November.

David Wilner has been named Chief Development Officer – North America. Wilner, a 30-year franchise sales veteran, has been with Wyndham for nearly eight years. Both Sripathi and Wilner will report to Geoff Ballotti, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Sripathi joined Wyndham in 2021 and has held several leadership roles, including overseeing the company’s growth and capital allocation strategy. He contributed to 20 consecutive quarters of organic net room growth and managed the divestiture of Wyndham’s owned hotels. Prior to Wyndham, Sripathi worked at RLJ Lodging Trust, overseeing Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, and previously held roles in the Real Estate, Lodging and Gaming investment banking group at Deutsche Bank.

Wilner will lead Wyndham’s North American franchise sales and architecture design and construction teams. He contributed to the creation and launch of ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham. Before joining Wyndham, Wilner spent 20 years in franchise sales leadership at La Quinta.
