Hotel Solea began operations on March 4, 2026, at 5420 Grand Pacific Dr, Carlsbad, CA 92008. The property, formerly known as the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort, underwent a multi-million dollar transformation before joining the Marriott Bonvoy Autograph Collection. The hotel features 201 guest rooms and suites, many with private balconies offering coastal or park views.
The opening coincides with the seasonal bloom of The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch, which began March 1, and precedes the debut of LEGOLAND California’s LEGO Galaxy Land on March 6. Hotel Solea offers direct access to LEGOLAND California via a private park entrance.
Guest amenities at Hotel Solea include a pool, lounge areas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and access to the Ocean Pearl Spa at The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa.
