Not everyone was cheering Guy Fieri at UFC 327.
The celebrity chef drew backlash after video from Saturday’s Miami event showed him leaning over a railing to greet brothers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate with a handshake and shoulder bump.
Critics flooded social media, with many saying the moment left a bad taste.
Andrew is currently under investigation in the United Kingdom on suspicion of assault and abuse, while he and Tristan both face human trafficking charges in Romania — allegations both brothers deny.
The self-described misogynist has also cultivated millions of fans online through his extreme masculine ideals, making him one of the manosphere’s most prominent figures.
Fieri’s fans, it’s fair to say, were not exactly thrilled to see him cozying up to the brothers, and more than a few may have demoted themselves to former fans by the end of the clip.

“@GuyFieri you’re pathetic,” wrote one user on X. “How is @FoodNetwork ok with this?!?” another added.
“Instead of Flavor Town, go to H*** @GuyFieri,” a third wrote. “This is gross.”
On Instagram, another added, “I’m really looking forward to the explanation for this one, the ‘Mayor of Flavor Town’ having a blast with the ‘Mayor of Misogyny Town.’”
“I wonder what all the female chefs on the Guy Fieri Network are going to think about this, or is the money worth it,” one fan wrote.
The brothers were taken into custody in Romania in December 2022 over human trafficking allegations, remaining in detention for several months as a pre-trial precaution. A Bucharest appeals court eased those restrictions in 2023, first moving them to house arrest before eventually requiring only routine check-ins with police.
Last week, a Romanian court lifted all remaining legal restrictions on the pair — though their legal troubles are far from over.
The brothers face 21 charges in the U.K., including trafficking and assault, and have been ordered to be extradited once Romanian proceedings are finished. Both men, dual citizens of the U.S. and U.K., deny any wrongdoing.
