The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale has begun a multi-phase renovation that will introduce several updates across the property. The project features a redesigned arrival experience and a new three-tier architectural lounge bar in the lobby, along with expanded outdoor views and an additional gathering space.
The resort’s Scotch Library is being expanded and redesigned with new floor-to-ceiling cabinetry and individual display lockers for nearly 450 bottles. The updated Scotch Library will offer an immersive tasting experience in a distinct room.
A new speakeasy is being added to the property, hidden behind an architectural feature and offering rare pours and craft cocktails in an intimate setting.
Enhancements to the adults-only pool area are now complete, including upgraded cabanas, refined seating, and new amenities. A newly renovated pool bar at the Adventure Pool is scheduled to debut later this fall, with additional enhancements to the pool environment planned throughout the year.
The property’s meeting and event spaces are also being modernized. The renovation covers three ballrooms and 45 meeting spaces, incorporating contemporary design and technology. The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa offers more than 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
Resort programming will feature wine and Scotch tastings, live music, and expanded social events as part of the Kierland After Dark series. The Antidote outdoor bar, which features what is described as the largest patio in Scottsdale, will continue to serve as a gathering space with open-air sports viewing and social programming.
