Sonesta International Hotels Corporation has executed an agreement for a new construction property under The Royal Sonesta brand in Giza, Egypt. The hotel will offer 208 rooms and suites and is planned to open in 2028. The property will be located near the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The agreement involves Al Farida as the franchise owner. The new hotel will join Sonesta’s portfolio in Egypt, which includes properties in Cairo, Giza, Luxor, and Aswan.
The Royal Sonesta Pyramids – Egypt will feature multiple dining outlets, a gym, a spa, and meeting and conference rooms for business travelers. Rooms and suites will overlook the pyramids.
