IHG Hotels & Resorts Signs Five-Hotel Portfolio Agreement with Adani Airport Holdings in India

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a managed hotel portfolio agreement with Adani Airport Holdings Limited for the development of close to 1,500 keys across five hotels in several gateway cities and airport-led destinations in India. The hotels will be located in Navi Mumbai, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and Jaipur.

The portfolio includes a Kimpton hotel in Jaipur, marking the introduction of the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand in India. Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels will also be developed as part of hospitality-led mixed-use projects within Adani Airport cities.

The agreement is part of IHG’s growth plans for India and will expand the company’s presence in commercial, travel, and aviation corridors. The hotels are planned for key commercial and leisure markets.

IHG Hotels & Resorts currently operates 52 hotels across six brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express. The company has a pipeline of 98 hotels scheduled to open in the next three to five years.
