Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan became one of the most talked-about names during the 2026 MLB All-Star Game after her performance of “God Bless America” at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia drew strong reactions from fans watching in the stadium and at home.
The Major League Baseball showcase on Tuesday featured the American League facing the National League in one of baseball’s biggest events of the year. While the American League eventually secured a 4-0 victory after building momentum throughout the game, many viewers found themselves discussing another standout moment from the night: Donegan’s patriotic performance before play resumed.

Fox Sports shared a video of Donegan singing “God Bless America,” helping introduce her performance to an even wider audience online. The clip quickly attracted attention across social media, where viewers praised the Miss America titleholder’s vocals and stage presence.
Donegan, who was crowned Miss America 2026 in September 2025, brought her background as a singer and theater performer to the baseball stage. The performance added another major appearance to a busy year that has already included national events, public appearances and singing engagements.
The 28-year-old made history when she became the eighth woman representing New York to win the Miss America crown. Before winning the national title, she held the Miss New York 2025 title and earned recognition during the Miss America competition for her vocal talents.

Cassie Donegan Balances Miss America Duties With a Packed National Schedule
The MLB All-Star Game performance was only one stop on an unusually busy schedule for the reigning Miss America.
According to Donegan, her days are often filled with travel and multiple appearances in different locations.
“A lot of days consist of a lot of travel, so plane, train, automobiles, all of it. We are in them all. A lot of airport time, and a lot of go, go, go,” she previously told PEOPLE.
She explained that most days involve more than one commitment, adding, “Usually at minimum, it’s about two things a day.”
Donegan believes her years working in entertainment prepared her for the demands of the role.
“I am used to living out of a suitcase or being on a plane all the time, going contract to contract or performance opportunity, so I think I’m a little bit more conditioned to that than some of our previous Miss Americas have been,” she said.
Even with the demanding schedule, Donegan admitted the pace can sometimes be exhausting.
“Some days, am I exhausted? 100%. Absolutely,” she said.
Outside her public appearances, Donegan has continued supporting arts education, a cause she promoted during her Miss America campaign. Earlier this year, she launched a full-tuition scholarship for the IAMT Summer Intensive program to help young performers gain access to musical theater training opportunities.
