Alberta’s most expensive home for sale right now has 13 bathrooms

2 September 20262 Mins Read

A massive home has hit the market in Alberta, and it’s the most expensive listing in the province at a whopping $18,000,000.

The French Chateau-inspired home, located at 30075 Township Rd. 262 in Rocky View County, sits on 8.82 acres of manicured grounds with mature trees, offering plenty of privacy just outside Calgary.

The stunning property comes with a hefty price tag, sitting on the market for a whopping $18 million, making it the most expensive home for sale in Alberta, per the MLS Real Estate map.

If you’re looking for plenty of room, this place definitely delivers. The home has more than 14,000 sq. ft. of living space, with eight bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, and 13 fireplaces spread throughout the property.

According to the listing, the two-storey property features soaring ceilings, intricate millwork, African mahogany hardwood, grand entertaining spaces, and resort-inspired amenities.

There’s also no shortage of oversized rooms throughout the home. The main floor includes a 1,030 sq.ft. office, a 535 sq. ft. dining room, a kitchen measuring more than 620 sq. ft., and a family room spanning roughly 730 sq. ft.

Downstairs, things are even more spacious with a 69-foot-long great room, another great room, a media room and a games room. The primary bedroom itself spans more than 700 sq. ft.

The mansion near Calgary was built in 2003 and has both attached and detached garages. Despite the extensive list of features, the sellers have intentionally kept much of the property’s information private.

You can find the full listing online.

While it may be the most expensive home on the market in the province, there are still some other pretty wild ones, including a stunning home on the banks of Sylvan Lake and a controversial Edmonton home that just hit the market.
