Stock up on your favourite beverages and snacks, and make your spontaneous day trip plans, because the weather is shaping up to be pretty warm and sunny! Here’s what’s open and closed on Labour Day (Monday, Sept. 7, 2026) in Vancouver.

  • Vancouver Aquarium: Tickets available between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Pharmacies (hours vary by location)
  • Home Depot (modified hours)
  • TransLink bus, SkyTrain, and Seabus services (operating on Sunday/holiday schedule)
  • 7-Eleven (open 24 hours)
  • Grocery stores (hours vary by location)
    • Safeway (call your nearest location for holiday hours)
