In Brief: National occupancy rose to 69.7%, while RevPAR increased 14.2% year over year during the week of Sept. 20-26.
According to CoStar’s latest data through 26 September, the U.S. hotel industry recorded year-over-year performance gains during the week of Sept. 20-26, supported in part by the favorable timing of Rosh Hashanah.
National hotel occupancy reached 69.7%, up 6.4% from the comparable week in 2025. Average daily rate increased 7.4% to US$179.43, while revenue per available room rose 14.2% to US$125.06.
Among the Top 25 hotel markets, Orlando posted the largest occupancy increase, rising 18.6% to 68.3%.
Miami recorded the largest ADR increase, up 19.8% to US$177.65.
San Francisco posted the largest RevPAR gain, rising 35.1% to US$223.16.
Phoenix was the only Top 25 market to report a RevPAR decline, down 0.5% to US$99.09.
