What to know before you go
To take part in Calgary Public Library Programs, you’ll need a free library card, and some sessions require advance registration. You can sign up for a free library card online if you don’t already have one.
And if you’d rather learn from home, the library also has free online learning courses through Gale Courses and LinkedIn Learning, covering everything from business skills to technology and creative interests.
So next time you want to learn a new skill but don’t want to spend a fortune, check out what’s happening at your local Calgary Public Library; you might find exactly what you’ve been looking for.
