Autumn Takashiro region treasure hunt location in Forza Horizon 6

22 October 20262 Mins Read

The winter Sotoyama region treasure hunt is one of the weekly activities in Forza Horizon 6 Series 6, “Horizon Meets.” Whenever a new hunt begins, a box appears somewhere on the map and, to locate it, the only hints you have are the region’s name and a picture. Completing this challenge helps you get closer to claiming the weekly and the Series cars.

If you need help locating the box, here’s where to find the “Horizon Meets” treasure hunt box in Forza Horizon 6.

Update (Oct. 22): We’ve added the Series 6 winter Sotoyama treasure hunt location.

‘Horizon Meets’ winter Sotoyama treasure hunt location in Forza Horizon 6

In Forza Horizon 6 Series 6 winter treasure hunt, you will need to look for the treasure box in the vast region of Sotoyama. Somewhere among the snowy mountains, the Horizon festival awaits for you to run over it and claim 100,000 credits and three seasonal points. I won’t lie: the “Horizon Meets” winter treasure hunt is a difficult one.

The photo hint shows the treasure box in an open field covered with snow. In the background, you see Mount Fuji behind other mountains. At first glance, it may seem like there’s nothing that can help you identify the location, but if you pay closer attention to the right side of the photo, you will see a frozen lake.

You can complete the Sotoyama treasure hunt by heading east until you read the Hakusan Mountain Lodge house. Behind it, you will find a frozen lake, and on the eastern corner of it, the treasure box. You can’t teleport to where the lake is, so you must choose somewhere near and use X/Square on the controller or X on the keyboard to fast travel. We recommend swapping to an off-road car as you’ll need to drive in the snow to reach the box.
