Star Mesa Capital acquired Ocean Point Inn from East Boothbay Bluebird Holdings LLC. JLL represented East Boothbay Bluebird Holdings LLC in the transaction.

Ocean Point Inn encompasses 42,890 square feet across 17 buildings on approximately 12.5 acres overlooking Linekin Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The property is in East Boothbay’s Ocean Point neighborhood.

The hotel was originally constructed in 1945 and comprehensively renovated in 2023. Its accommodations include guest rooms, suites and private cottages. Lark, which has operated the property, will remain the operator.

The property includes a waterfront restaurant and bar, an outdoor pool, fire pits, lawn games, a gift shop, oceanfront gathering spaces and more than 80 on-site parking spaces. It also includes on-site staff housing.

The renovation included guest accommodations, public areas, restaurant facilities and building infrastructure.

Ocean Point Inn is approximately seven miles from Boothbay Harbor and within driving distance of Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and Greater Boston.

The hotel’s campus-style layout and range of accommodations serve leisure travelers, weddings, social events, retreats and visitors to nearby scientific and educational institutions. The property also attracts seasonal leisure travelers, groups and special events visiting Maine’s Mid-Coast region.

The JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group team was led by Senior Managing Director Alan Suzuki.
