Calgary is getting a holiday night market with over 60 vendors and live entertainment

30 October 20263 Mins Read

Calgary’s Inglewood Holiday Night Market is making its return this November, bringing more than 60 local vendors to The Quonset at Crossroads Market. Running across three weekends, the market will feature festive decor, clothing, jewellery, and handmade items from independent makers.

Here’s everything you need to know about the market, including admission prices and what you can expect to find.

What to expect at the Inglewood Holiday Night Market

What is the Inglewood Holiday Night Market?

If you’ve spent a summer evening wandering through Calgary’s Inglewood neighbourhood, there’s a good chance you’ve come across the Inglewood Night Market. The seasonal market takes over the street around 10th Avenue and 10th Street SE, with more than 100 vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment.

The Inglewood Holiday Night Market is put on by the same organizers and brings that experience into the festive season. However, instead of taking over the streets like its summer counterpart, the holiday edition moves indoors and brings together more than 60 vendors selling gifts, Christmas decor, and more.

In addition to the vendors, you can also enjoy food and live entertainment throughout the evening.

Where is the market taking place?

The Inglewood Holiday Night Market will take place inside The Quonset at Crossroads Market in southeast Calgary. The space is covered and heated, so you can browse vendors without worrying about the chilly November weather.

When is the Inglewood Holiday Night Market?

The market will run across three weekends this November, with six evenings to shop and explore. The first market will take place on Friday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 14. It will return the following weekend, on Friday, Nov. 20, and Saturday, Nov. 21, before wrapping up on Friday, Nov. 27, and Saturday, Nov. 28.

What is the Last Stop Shop?

If you’re unable to make it to the market during November, there’s still one more chance to get some shopping done. The organizers are hosting The Last Stop Shop on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., bringing more than 60 vendors back to the space for one final shopping day before Christmas.

How much are tickets to the market?

Admission to the Inglewood Holiday Night Market costs $5 per person, with free entry for children under 12 and seniors aged 65 and older.

If you’re planning to attend the Last Stop Shop on Dec. 19, you won’t have to worry about admission fees, as the bonus market is completely free to attend.

So whether you’re getting some early holiday shopping done or need to pick up a few last-minute gifts, the Inglewood Holiday Night Market could be a great spot to grab a gift for your family and friends this Christmas season.

Happy shopping!
