Impression Isla Mujeres, a 123-suite adults-only, all-inclusive resort at Punta Sur on Isla Mujeres, Mexico, has joined The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
The resort is located on the southern tip of Isla Mujeres, off the coast of Cancún, near a historic sanctuary associated with the Maya goddess Ixchel.
Opened in 2023 under the Impression by Secrets brand, the property will continue to operate as an adults-only, all-inclusive resort. It will continue offering Endless Privileges, a set of inclusions available at select Hyatt all-inclusive resorts, along with its existing services, amenities and experiences.
Impression Isla Mujeres has 123 suites, each with a private terrace. Many terraces overlook the Caribbean Sea or surrounding coastline. The resort includes infinity pools, private Mayan soaking tubs, yoga hammocks, wellness cabanas and TRX equipment.
The property has seven restaurants serving Italian, pan-Asian, Mexican and Mediterranean menus, as well as grilled dishes. À la carte offerings include seafood, steak, tacos, wood-fired pizza and teppanyaki. Five bars and lounges offer coffee, swim-up drinks and rooftop cocktails.
Impression Isla Mujeres partners with the nonprofit Saving Our Sharks Foundation. Since opening in 2023, the resort has dedicated a portion of room revenue to the foundation and hosted guest snorkeling and shark-tagging excursions. The partnership also supports local fishing communities and alternative livelihoods for fishers transitioning away from shark fishing.
The Unbound Collection by Hyatt was established in 2016. Recent additions include THE BARAI HUA HIN in Thailand; Hôtel Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice, France; The Georgian in Santa Monica; Hotel 1000 in Seattle; and The Clayfield in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
Casa Duhau in Mendoza, Argentina, is expected to join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in late 2027.
