Minor Hotels has signed a hotel management agreement with Amal Group of Companies for Gardens of Eden Resort Phuket, Minor Reserve Collection, scheduled to open in 2031 in Bang Tao, Phuket.
The 310-key resort will be located 250 meters from Phuket’s west coast shoreline and will be the first Minor Reserve Collection property in Asia. The property will comprise a 100-key hotel and 210 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences operated as part of the resort inventory.
The resort is planned as the hospitality component of the 33-acre Gardens of Eden development, which will also include Etro Residences and Gardens of Eden Residences.
A wellness facility spanning more than 5,000 square meters is planned for the resort. Proposed food and beverage venues include an all-day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants, an organic café and a lobby lounge.
The project is adjacent to a protected national park and near Laguna Phuket and Phuket International Airport.
Martin Palleros of Tierra Design is designing the project. The design will reflect Bang Tao’s natural setting.
