After the brief stint of snow… sun is officially back in the city!

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, the week ahead of us is going to be relatively sunny for the most part. In fact, this Thursday (Nov. 5) and Friday (Nov. 6) will have the temperature stay above zero throughout the entire day.

On both Friday and the following Sunday (Nov. 8), there will be a high of 10°C, and today (Nov. 3) it will even reach 11°C. We’ll still get to enjoy a little bit of sun before the winter heads in for real.

Edmonton’s local museum will be featuring a new exhibit all about hockey

The Royal Alberta Museum will be introducing its newest feature exhibition this month, HOCKEY: Faster Than Ever, taking guests through the evolution of ice hockey.

Visitors can learn about the technical advancements and scientific breakthroughs that have shaped the sport over time, ranging from new technologies to the science of physics. For anyone who considers themself a fan of the sport, this is definitely worth checking out when it opens on Nov. 26.

This new cafe just announced its grand opening… and it’s coming this weekend!

While we’re on the topic of all things new, Poppy’s is popping up for its grand opening this Saturday, Nov. 7!

Downtown Edmonton has an all-new cafe in the form of Poppy’s, a cute little shop on 100th Avenue. You’ll be able to find an assortment of delightful treats and drinks here, including fresh pastries, cold-pressed juices, coffee with house-made syrups, and more.

Speaking of new, West Edmonton Mall has got a fresh shop to check out soon

West Edmonton Mall held the soft opening of the first DJI authorized store in Canada on Oct. 31, and its official grand opening is on the way, slated for Friday, Nov. 20.

During this soft-opening period, guests are welcome to visit the shop and explore loads of DJI products in person. Whether you’re grabbing some new gear or looking for guidance from the store’s knowledgeable team, this new hot spot for electronics is worth a stop.
