Plans for the resort include guestrooms and suites, two-bedroom villas with private swimming pools, a family pool, and an adults-only pool with a poolside bar and dining. The resort also plans a new lobby and communal areas, along with a kids club and teen zone.
The resort’s planned food and beverage venues include an all-day dining restaurant combining global flavors and Pacific traditions; JW Market, with all-day refreshments and grab-and-go options; a restaurant with Japanese influences and locally sourced ingredients; a wine and cocktail lounge; and an elevated dining and cultural experience rooted in Fijian tradition.
JW Marriott Fiji Resort & Spa is also planned to include a 309-square-meter ballroom, a 490-square-meter pre-function foyer and five meeting rooms. The ballroom is planned to accommodate up to 180 guests in banquet seating.
The introduction of JW Marriott is connected to one of Fiji National Provident Fund’s tourism investments. The collaboration is intended to support an industry that creates jobs, attracts visitors and contributes to economic growth.
