The Innisfail Harvest Festival is back for its fifth year, with two days of fall activities planned at Centennial Park this September.
The weekend starts with a pancake breakfast and continues with an artisan market, wagon rides, kids’ activities, and the annual scarecrow competition. Alongside the fall activities, there will also be live entertainment on the main stage, followed by a drone show to close out the night.
And with free admission, you won’t have to worry about breaking the bank.

The Innisfail Harvest Festival is a two-day autumn celebration held at Centennial Park in Innisfail, Alta. The festival is returning for its fifth year, with wagon rides, live music, an artisan market, and a drone light show planned throughout the weekend.
According to the Innisfail Harvest Festival, the Innisfail Special Events Society organizes the event. They are a group of local leaders and volunteers who formed in 2021 to bring back community traditions while creating new ones for town residents.
What activities can I do on Saturday?
If you’re heading to the festival on Saturday, there will be a full day of activities to work your way through. The morning will kick off with a pancake breakfast followed by the festival’s artisan market, Kids’ Zone, and Fitset Ninja obstacle course.
Throughout the afternoon, you can hop on a wagon ride, grab a bite from one of the food trucks, watch a magic show, or hang out in the beer gardens.

Sunday’s entertainment lineup starts with magician Robert Wong, followed by the scarecrow winners’ presentation, then the Indigenous Dance Troupe will take the main stage at noon.

Where is the festival located?
The festival will be hosted at Centennial Park in Innisfail, Alta. The town is about 120 kilometres north of Calgary, a roughly one-hour drive, and about 32 kilometres south of Red Deer, or about a 25-minute drive.
