The Singapore property, migrating to Cendyn Web from another CMS, faced SEO/GEO challenges limiting its organic visibility and revenue potential: fragmented search authority from duplicate/inconsistent URLs, weak on-page signals, limited structured data for search engines and AI-driven answer engines, and technical issues that had stalled prior optimization efforts.

Ahead of and during launch, Cendyn conducted comprehensive redirect mapping to consolidate duplicate URL variations — including trailing-slash vs. non-trailing-slash URLs and index.php variants — reducing dilution of search authority across near-identical pages.
- Page title and meta description updates. Titles and meta descriptions were reviewed and updated as part of the launch process to establish stronger, more relevant on-page SEO & GEO signals from day one.
- Navigating platform constraints. Their previous CMS limited full implementation of redirects and schema, so Cendyn worked within those constraints to deliver as much of the technical SEO foundation as possible during launch.
- Hotel schema markup implementation. Cendyn implemented Hotel schema to improve structured data, helping both traditional search engines and emerging AI/generative answer engines better understand and represent the property.
- Resolution of outstanding technical recommendations. Cendyn fully resolved previously blocked redirect and schema recommendations.
- Metadata refinement at scale. Titles and meta descriptions were revised across the site to ensure consistent branding and wording, with new titles and metas added wherever they were missing.
RESULTS
Since Cendyn began working with the hotel, the property has seen meaningful gains in search visibility, traffic, and revenue.
On the keyword front, “rooftop bar in Singapore” climbed 13 positions, from 35th to 22nd, while “1 for 1 hotel buffet Singapore” jumped from outside the top 100 to 32nd position. The strongest query-level gains have been concentrated in branded and dining-related searches, reflecting improved visibility for the property’s core commercial offerings.
Year-to-date, organic sessions grew 20% (15,000 additional sessions); bookings rose by 25%; and revenue saw a 139% increase.
As of July 2026, looking at the performance over the trailing six months versus the prior period, clicks increased by 24% (2,000 additional clicks), and average position improved moving the site from page 2 to page 1 of search results.
