Applebee’s is giving customers a summer deal that’s too irresistible to pass up.
Making its way back onto the menu after a two-year hiatus—and due to fan demand—is the DOLLARITA.
Yes, the margarita that will only cost you $1.
And it couldn’t come at a more perfect time, as everyone is trying to avoid a heavy price tag, seeking out the best bang for their buck amid rising costs.
According to the press release shared with Parade, it’s the “cocktail that broke the internet and redefined value,” and it’s coming back just in time to toast America for its 250th birthday.

The DOLLARITA officially returns nationwide starting July 1 for a limited time, available for dine-in only, allowing guests to sip on one — or a few — all month long.
Applebee’s fans were thrilled with the return of the iconic margarita, especially as they’ve been clamoring for the comeback, with one declaring, “and just like that I’m back to loving life again.”
“Omg I feel like it’s been 3 years since Dollarita season this is the best news,” another exclaimed, as others chimed in, “they’re baccckkkkk” and “everyone cheer.”
“it’s not my bday but it sure feels like it,” someone else joked, with many others noting it feels like the “best day ever.”

The DOLLARITA was first introduced in Oct. 2017, becoming one of Applebee’s most successful promotions ever and boosting traffic.
Since then, it’s become a recurring, fan-favorite promo, returning briefly in 2018 due to popularity before disappearing in 2020 due to the pandemic.
