Chobani is beloved for its “simple ingredient” coffee creamers. Now, its popular La Colombe brand—which the company acquired in 2023 for $900 million—is launching a line of ready-to-drink options that will open it up to a new group of shoppers: those who prefer matcha over a cup of joe (though one can justify the use of creamer in matcha for a sweet splash of flavor as well).
Inspired by drinks sold at its La Colombe cafés, the new La Colombe Matcha Lattes will come in three delicious flavors: Vanilla, Strawberry, and, of course, Everyday (traditional unflavored matcha). According to the product’s packaging, the beverage is made with single-origin matcha from Japan and lactose-free whole milk. The brand promises quality, with a focus on “craftsmanship and innovation.”
The new launch comes amid ongoing interest in matcha products, something the brand has noticed firsthand in-store. In its La Colombe cafés, matcha sales grew 188% between 2023 and 2025, according to a press release shared directly with Parade. Moreover, research conducted by the brand points to a surge in seasonal popularity; searches are up as fall emerges: “Google Trends data reported this week shows matcha latte searches now lead seasonal beverage interest in 29 states and nationally.”
